I did not see a range for ROSC in the data sheet for the TPA3106. Just the single 100K value. Does anyone know what the range for this resistor is? Alternatively I am interested in what the highest frequency the PWM clock can run at? Thanks.

Hi Mark,
You can see the PWM frequency on the table of page 2 in datasheet.
The max PWM frequency is 300KHz.

Derek
That tells you the range of PWM frequency for a 100K resistor. It doesn't tell you what the max PWM frequency for the part is or the range of the resistor is. For example if I use a 49.9K resistor will it work or fail. I assume the resistor value can change. After all they gave a formula for the frequency. Why do that if it is always the same resistor and frequency. Do you concur?

Hi Mark,
TPA3106 is old device, so I will talk with designer for the question.
After I get the answer, I will reply to you.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience。
Hi Mark,
I did not get reply now.
I suggest you can choose other new next generation device TPA3106, so you can get our better and more comprehensive support.
If you still want to TPA3106 support about PWM question, you can send e-mail to me:
derek-gong@ti.com
I will close the E2E firstly.
Thanks!
Regards.
