Hi Sir,

My customer is interesting about sync function in TPA3138D2. Please help to check below questions.

1. Why there need 4.7k resistor between two TPA3138D2?

2. Is there need a resistor between TPA3100D2 for device sync?

3. Can TPA3100D2 sync with TPA3138D2?

Hi Gary,

TPA3138 does not have Sync pin. Do you mean TPA3128 device?

There is RC filter (4.7K+47pF) to filter high frequency noise.

TPA3100 is old device, I am not sure if the sync frequency is same as TPA3128 or not.

If the sync frequency is same, TPA3128 sync pin can connect to TPA3100.

We need to find EVM board to check.

As you know, it is old device, we need some time to check it.

You can also select new device TPA3118D2, the sync pin connection is fine with TPA3128.

Hi Gary,

The TPA3156 sync pin design is same as TPA3128.
