Hi,
According to PCM1753 data sheet, it seems that PCM1753 can be worked with the default settings normally even if the internal registers aren't access using the ML, MC and MD pins, but is my understanding correct?
If yes, can the ML, MC and MD pins be kept floating? For these pins, PCM1753-Q1 has the schmitt-trigger input with internal pull-down. So, could you please confirm just in case?
Additionally, please let me know if you have any concerns.
Best regards,
Kato
Hi Kato-san,
The PCM1753 does not require any programming if you are using the device in the default configuration. The device does not require configuration.
I recommend that you tie ML to VCC if you are not using the SPI port. The MD and MC pins can be left floating. You could also consider the PCM1754.
Thanks,
Paul
