TPA3144D2: TPA3144 noise

Hi Sir,

My customer suing TPA3144D2 buy can hear speaker has a little "zi zi " noise in special music. The o/p is using bead +C.

'Zi Zi" noise will gone if change to using LC filter. Do you know what possible reason cause the noise? Is relative with speaker internal RLC?

As to this noise issue, may you help to share the music and PVDD, load, etc for the reproduce of this issue before further analysis?

Hi Alix,

24V, 8ohms.

End Customer has 2 ODM partners, let's called one is A, another is B.

A: schematic using LC filter, they didn't meet noise issue.

B: schematic using bead + C, they met noise issue; the noise will gone if also using LC filter.

Do you think it cause PWM signal direct to speaker?

Hi Lan,

PWM switching is high frequency, it can not be hear.

You can ask customer to short input to GND through 1uF caps and check if the noise is gone.

If so, the noise is from input source.
