TAS2110: 8.5.45 BOOST_CFG4

Part Number: TAS2110

Hi team,

My customer is evaluating the TAS2110EVM.

The customer thinks that there is a writing error on the 8.5.45 BOOST_CFG4 in the d/s P.69.

1. The value at reset, when EVM is read, is 0x76h.

2. The customer thinks the Field is not BST_SSL[7:0] but a combination of BST_SSL[2:0] and BST_ILIM[5:0] as described on p45, p46. What is each bit and what does it support?

3. In #2 above, if the top 2 bits are SSL, then customer thinks the default value of P45 Table 81 is wrong.

Regards,

Yamaguchi

  • Hi Yamaguchi-san,

There is typo in the data sheet:

    • Correct reset value is 0x76
    • Register 0x40 has BST_SSL on bits [7:6] and BST_ILIM [5:0]

You can see correct register description from PPC3 -> Register Map panel:

    Best regards.
