PCM1754-Q1: POP noise issue

Part Number: PCM1754-Q1

Dear team,

My customer found that there is pop noise before the speaker begin to work and after the speaker stops to work. They use our device in two platform. One platform A has pop sound , and another platform B has no pop sound. This project is cluster, the speaker won't work all the time. Only when there is a fault, the speaker begins to work, but our PCM1754-Q1 always powers on. The difference between platform A and platform B is that platform A's 1754 always has the continuous clock signal(SCLK, BCLK,RCLK), no data signal when speaker doesn't work, receive data signal when speaker works; Platform B's 1754 only has continuous RCLK, no SCLK/BCLK/data signal when speaker doesn't work, receive SCLK/BCLK/data signal at the same time when speaker works.

Is there any special power on sequence about SCLK/BCLK/RCLK and data? We should give SCLK to 1754 firstly, then give the data signal, and then stop the data signal, and then stop SCLK signal, right? Is there any special reason about the power on sequence?

Below picture is the PIN8's waveform, you can see that the bias voltage changes from 2.5V to 2.8V with unknown reason. But in the platform A, the bias voltage is always 2.5V.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Sherry
