Hello team.

Please tell me about the operation of the INT terminal of PCM1860-Q1.

The datasheet p.8 states the type as [Analog output].

However, DECRIPTION says [Pull high for active mode, pull low for idle.]

And P.54 says [The INT pin on the PCM1860-Q1 and PCM1861-Q1 is also used to put. the device into power-down mode.]

Does this pin also work as an input pin to switch between power-down mode and normal operation?

    As a confirmation, is it only PCM1860-Q1 = Hardware control typ that the logic of INT pin is reversed?

    Is the Software control typ such as PCM1862-Q1 the same?

    I understand that the logic is the opposite.

    I understand that it can be controlled by the INT pin, but can I understand that it is an input / output pin?

    I understand that High is output to the INT pin when there is no audio signal input.

    The INT pin description is backwards in all PCM186x devices and the operation in the link we provided previously explains the proper operation.  The pin is an input/output and when pulled HIGH the device is placed into Power-down.  See below datasheet sections for more information. 

    9.3.15 Interrupt Controller The hardware-controlled PCM1860 and PCM1861 has the energysense signal detect as the default output on the INT pin. There are no other interrupt sources. The INT pin on the PCM1860 and PCM1861 is also used to put the device into power-down mode. Figure 44 shows the interrupt logic

    9.4.1.1.1 Enter Standby Mode (From Active Mode) The external host should drive the INT pin (GPIO3) high (whilst there is no interrupt pending) to place the device in Idle mode. The INT pin is configured as an energysense interrupt output on the hardware-controlled device; therefore, the external host microcontroller should use it as multi-function pin. (MCU pin configured as INPUT when no requirement exists to move to standby, MCU pin as OUTPUT driving HIGH when a need exists to place the device in an idle state.)
