PCM1808-Q1: stop system clock during power on reset

Hi team,

1. Is there any problem if the system clock below stops during Reset period?

2. If the system clocks stops during reset, will it recover to normal operation once the system clock input resume?

    Hi Shinji-san,

    Since our US application team is on Thanksgiving holiday therefore i'm responding this on their behalf.

    Regarding Q1: There is no problem if the system clocks stop during reset phase. Just that the device reset phase gets elongated and will wait for the system clock to complete the reset phase.

    Regarding Q1 : Yes, the device will expect to recover back to normal operation whenever the clock gets applied.
