PCM1864-Q1: Input impedance at Fs=48kHz and 96kHz

Part Number: PCM1864-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM1808, , PCM1864

Hello,

My question is related to the following one, but would the input impedance of PCM1864-Q1 be the same as PCM1808?  If not, would you please tell me that of PCM1864-Q1?  They'd like to know the min/max of the input impedance at Fs=48kHz and 96kHz.

Best Regards,

Yoshikazu Kawasaki

  • Hi Kawasaki-san,

The PCM1864 is an entirely different architecture than PCM1808 and since it has an analog input PGA, the input impedance will not change significantly with sample rate like the PCM1808 does. I can't give a min/max but based on the process of PCM1864 the input impedance can vary  -25% to +20% between different devices, but the input impedance of a given device should be consistent between channels.

    Best,

    Zak
