OPA1612: noise of follower

Part Number: OPA1612
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV134

Hi,

i am building a differential audio buffer input.

Because i do not need any gain, two follower topolgies seems to be better in terms of performances instead of two inverting or non-inverting, or event a DRV134.

My question is relative of the (broadband) noise. Should it be better to filter/add caps somewhere to cut the band for stability and (broadband) noise, as usual for inverting, non-inverting ?

  • Hi Remy,

    Could you please clarify your expecting differential input topology?

    - What is your input common mode voltage range for the differential input?

    - Which do you need for the output? single-ended or differential?

    - DC-coupled or AC-coupled?

    Once you could clarify the above condition, we will suggest the LPF solution.

    Best regards,
    Iwata Etsuji

  • Thank you for your feedback Iwata.

    - What is your input common mode voltage range for the differential input? -> 0v

    - Which do you need for the output? single-ended or differential? -> differential preffered but SE possible

    - DC-coupled or AC-coupled? -> AC-coupled

    Best regards.
