TPA3139D2: Can you change modulation between BD and SPW mode on the fly?

Or, at least can the speaker be muted and have it changed without powering down the amplifier?

    Hi Lauren,

    You definitely shouldn't be changing the modulation between BD and 1SPW while the device is out of shutdown/mute!

    Now for when it's in mute operation, the rest of the internal system should still be on while in mute. Changing modes while the device is turned on might cause some issues. That said it's possible that it could work but since we don't validate the device to be operated as such, so there's an inherent risk to doing this. 

    There would be no issues trying this when the device is in SD.
