PCM5242RHBEVM: PCM5242 EVM board not powering up

I would like to get a replacement board.

The board does not power up anymore. When plug into USB port, no LED will come on. I tried different cables and different computers. The computer does not see the device in device manager in Windows.

I ordered it from TI on April 15. 2012. TI order number is T01278351.

Hi Raymond,

Does the USB draw high current? Maybe the connector is damaged? Have you tried a replacement USB cable?

Could this have been damaged in the last 9 years?

As I said in my fist post, I tried different cables and different computers, but no luck. It worked for few days when I first got it. Right now it does not power up. Might be power regulator on board is damaged? I did most of the basic troubleshooting. If there is something you want me to try, let me know. If I can get a new one, please ship it ASAP as I am waiting for the board to continue on my project.

Raymond, to clarify, this EVM was ordered 9 years ago? Or was it a typo and you ordered it in April 2021?
