Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5414C,
I am designing a board to amplify a single driver. The crossover for the driver will be built into my board. Inductor and heat-sink costs must be kept to a minimum.
I was going to use this chip because it is high power I2S input, and i should be able to save the cost of an inductor if I design the feedback loop myself.
My alternative is TAS5414C. easier to design, but I can't integrate my crossover into the output filter.
Is this a waste of time?
should I just grab the TAS5414C because the extra cost of automotive grade evens out the difference?
Thank you in advance for your advice
