Part Number: TPA3251D2EVM
Hi,
Set TPA3251D2EVM 2.1 mode, Load is 8ohm, test result is as below.
input power, 34.7V*2.9A=100.63W.
output power, 2*(10V*10V/8)+21.5V*21.5/8=87.78W
η= 87.78/100.63=82.26% .
Why is the eficiency so low?

Hi Li Darren,
Good question. The EVM has more devices on the board than just the TPA3251. Though the amplifier certainly is consuming the majority of it, you do have some current draw from the onboard op-amps, 12V and 3.3V LDO as well as the buck converter. These devices will be skewing your efficiency numbers.
Regards,
Robert
Yes, if you mean subtracting the power consumed by the LDOs, buck, LEDs, etc from the system power consumption. You can likely find an approximation of how much current the device consumes on their datasheets as well.
Best of luck,
Robert
