Hi,

The following "EVM disconnect" is displayed on "AIC3204 CS" GUI when connecting TLV320AIC3204EVM to PC via USB cable, so the same result is obtained even if Windows 7 or Windows XP is used.
Could you please tell me how to improve this issue ?

Hi, Kato-san,

If the EVM is not recognized, it is possible that the EEPROM on the board has been corrupted. Please try the steps from this wiki entry to re-program the firmware on the EEPROM of the EVM.

Unfortunately, the following error is displayed with Windows7 pc, so the firmware isn't able to be updated.
So, could you please give me your advice again ?

Hi Diego-san,

I cannot verify the following issue, so could you please try to check whether the crosstalk issue is replicated by using the EVM ?

Hi, Kato-san,

This message may appear of the EEPROM does not have the correct address, or if the DFU device is not found. Can you please clarify in which step this message appears?.

Typically is recommended to return to step 2 and try again when this message appears. Please make sure you are shorting the SCL and SDA pins of the EEPROM in the EVM (U2) and a shunt is populated in W13 header.

If the message still appears, it is possible that the EEPROM is damaged.

Hi Diego-san,

I replaced TLV320AIC3204EVM with TLV320AIC3254EVM and connected TLV320AIC3254EVM to USB-MODEVM, then TLV320AIC3254 worked normally.
So, it is possible that the EEPROM or TLV320AIC3204 is damaged.
