Hi,
I've also received a SRC4392EVM-PDK and noticed that it ships now with no CD-ROM into the box. Furthermore, there is no application SW available from the E2E portal either.
The link https://txn.box.com/s/vsoc5h5dazmb5fg8ba9umc3l6mohfk84 provided by https://e2e.ti.com/members/1747739 in a previous thread to download the original WinXP CD software is dead too.
Therefore the board is unusable at the moment.
What is to be done in order to get access to the board drivers (USB-MODEVM) and to the USB Serial Commander NI script?
Also, in another thread https://e2e.ti.com/support/audio/f/6/t/798082?SRC4382EVM-PDK-installing-the-USB-MODEVM-driver a DAIMB firmware update is strongly recommended, since the previous USBMODEVM gave a lot of issues. In the same thread, the usage of the http://www.ti.com/tool/PUREPATHCONSOLE?keyMatch=Purepathconsole%203&tisearch=Search-EN-Everything is proposed.
Could someone please give clear instructions as how to operate the board, i.e.
- provide an active link to downloadable drivers
- explain "which" software is meant to the used (USB Serial Commander or PurePathConsole3) and provide links for download
Thank you.
Best regards,
Alberto
