I found the 20k ohms resistor between AVDD and AVSS on the datasheet page 51.
Can you tell me why this resistor put on the schematic?
We need to know reason why this resistor needed to continue design.
It's urgent, appreciate if you respond ASAP.

Hi Uozu-san,
It's for fast discharge the AVDD capacitor during power down. As long as the you can keep the 15ms time interval between STANDBY# and VBAT/PVDD/VDD removed, this resistor can be removed. Thanks!

Hi Hao-san,
Thanks for quick response.
In case of the emergency shutdown which means STANDBY, VBAT, PVDD and VDD go to off at the same time and there is no resistor between AVDD to AVSS, what is happen?
Do we need to put this 20kohms resistor if we design for this emergency case?
Hi Uozu-san,
As shown on datasheet, we recommend to keep >15ms time interval between STANDBY and power removal, or there could be pop noise.
For the emergency scenario you described, you can keep this resistor.
Thanks!

Hao
