LM49370: bidirectional I2S to PCM converter ?

Can you confirm the system Audio input and output you're looking to have?  Is the input to the system an analog microphone or line-input and the output is USB audio?

It sounds like they want a solution that supports USB to line-out (DAC) and Line-in to USB (ADC).  Take a look at the PCM2912A.  It features a microphone ADC and a headphone amplifier that can drive into either 32Ohm or 10k (line-out) loads.

If the interface is digital PCM, What is best choice ?

We are still unclear which audio format you're describing.  What are you connecting the output of what you're trying to design to?  Maybe we can review it's capabilities and help guide you.

The LM49370, LM49350 and LM49352 all support PCM to I2S. 

The LM49370 has 1 I2S port and 1 PCM port,  while the others have two serial audio ports which can be configured for PCM or I2S.

in all cases the ports are bi-directional and support A-law or u-law companding.

If you are looking for a simple USB Codec the LM493xx devices are likely not the right fit,  but for PCM<=>I2S  they are great.

The LM49370 and LM49352 devices support I2S to Mono PCM. If that is what you need they can work.

My customer will be designed without analog operation.

Do he designing No connection to E2 & C2 pin ?
