Hi Team,

Currently helping our customer on debugging issues with their TLV320AIC23B board. Is it allowed to configure the codec (by SPI) and in the same time transmitting and receiving data from the McBSP channels?

    Hello,

    Yes, communicating with the device and reading/writing registers is possible while the ASI (McASP) bus is active.  However, some of the register settings like channel gain, channel configuration, input selection, output selection, etc. are usually changed while the device is powered-down / muted otherwise there will be audible impacts while changing these settings.
