Regarding the DAC_OUTX+ and DAC_OUTX-, I can not find electrical information in data sheet.
How is the output current driving capability if connect to VU meter?

VU meter can be considered as a 600Ohm loading for the DAC, right? I don't have the exact number for this device, but usually the minimum loading should over 1kOhm. So, there might be not enough driving capability...
You can use a OP-amp and build a simple buffer for it. Or just use a resistor divider. Does it work for you?

Hi Roy,
A -VEE power could increase the complexity of the system. How about using AC coupling and bias the OP input at 1/2 VCC?
It's not recommended to use the TAS3251 internal voltage regulators to power other devices on the board. Thanks!
