Hi Sir,
According tuning file as below ppc3, we found "first play tone" will clear to hear sound small to large. After 1st play, it will be normal.
Would you pls advise what we can tune to improve it? (attack time?)
Thanks, Ian.

Hi Ian,
I'm checking this on the speaker protection algorithm, we may need to feed some dummy values during startup to provide initial values, increasing attack time may affect overall protection functionality during broad audible band content playback.
I can provide some further updates earlier next week.

Hi Ian,
This fade-in at the first play is due to Excursion Speed control. Default value is 100ms, which is most likely the fade-in you see in your tests.
You can reduce this value from Protection Tuning control, but please fine tune-it for continuous playback and different audio content. This is changing excursion protection so you should test thoroughly to make sure it does not affect overall device and protection operation.
