CDCE62002EVM: EVM Software getting Crash again and again both rev. E and F

Part Number: CDCE62002EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCE62005, CDCE62002

Hi Ti Team

I have downloaded

CDCE62005 EVM Control Software Installer both version E and F. When I am importing my previous ini file in SPI debug and when i tried to change and save then it keeps loading. The page shows it is not responding. PFB image for your refernce.

I am using windows 10.

  • Hello Balvan,

i am not able to reproduce that.

Have you tried to uninstall both versions and only reinstall version F(1.4.8)?

Do you have the same behavior if you use "File -> Save as..." or only from the SPI debug interface?

Does this happen with other ini files as well? (there is one here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Texas Instruments Inc\CDCE62005)

Could you please share the ini file?

    regards,

    Julian

  • Hi Julian.

    Sorry for the late response.

I am not able to attach ini file here.

Can you please share your email id so i can mail u.

I have uninstall both version E nd F. and install 1.4.8 still getting crash issue.

  • Hello Balvan,

I'll reach out to you, please send it to me and I'll take a look at what might be causing this issue.

  • Hello Balvan,

Please note that CDCE62002 software is also available - I see you are utilizing CDCE62005 version E and F. Please advise as this might be your issue - trying to load in CDCE62002 settings into CDCE62005.

  • Hello Balvan,

I've tested the .ini file shared with me and I was able to load in the settings. The settings look fine.

You said this file was from a "previous ini file in SPI debug", were you individually programming the device registers before?
