LMX2595: PLLatinum

Part Number: LMX2595
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMX2594

Dear team

The customer use PLLatinum to simulate the filter, but they had some setting problem, could you help to recommend?

The customer's condition :

Focs:122.88MHz

Fvco:8143MHz

1. why does the 1.21 shows red background? is the value need to adjust?

2. There are VCO1 to VCO7, How to select this function?

3. Is Fout equal to Fvco/2?

Many thanks

Denny

  • Hi Denny,

Whenever a box turns red or yellow, there is something need attention, we can mouse-over the box to see the tips. In this case, 1.21 is not a valid value as the chip is not able to generate this ratio.

We don't need to care the VCO core, the correct VCO will be picked automatically.

In the picture you have shown, the output divider is set to div/2.

  • Hi Neol

    Focs:122.88MHz

    Fvco:8143MH

    The customer can’t get Fvco=8143MHz

Could you help to optimum the loop filters components.

Attached is LMX2594 PLL simulation file.
