LMK5B12204: About the use of TISC PRO software tool

Part Number: LMK5B12204

Hi:TI FAE

There are still two problems:

1) Does the XO input frequency have to be greater than the reference input frequency (PRIREF_P)?

2) When setting DPLL, the following error will be prompted:

MATLAB RUNTIME has been installed according to the URL path (www.mathworks.com/.../matlab-runtime.html);

However, it has been shown in this window that the DPLL calculation is completed as follows:

TKS;

  • Hello,

    There's no requirement that XO freq must be larger than Pri Ref Freq. The input range can be as high as 800 MHz while the XO is just limited to 100 MHz. Reference input supports 1 pps (1 Hz) while XO min is 10 MHz.

    There's a requirement (that is explained in the wizard I should add) that if DPLL is enabled, you cannot use an integer relationship between the XO and the BAW (2.5 GHz). So with DPLL enabled, XO at 25 MHz or 50 MHz will not work; you must use a 48.0048 MHz or 38.88 MHz or any other frequency that does not have an integer relationship.

    You need to have the correct matlab runtime installed. If installed, then you shouldn't get an error message. MATLAB runtime can be installed from: https://www.mathworks.com/products/compiler/matlab-runtime.html

    The version to install is MATLAB R2015b 9.0 64-bit runtime.

    Thanks and regards,

    Amin
