Background:
I am using the LMX2595EVM eval board and switching between using a 10 MHz external reference and 100 MHz onboard reference that came with the board. I am having two separate issues that I need help to fix.
Issue #1:
The first is that there are two spurs produced by the LMX2595 output if I use a single-ended 10 MHz source that are also present but significantly reduced if I use the onboard 100 MHz differential crystal reference. Using the 100 MHz onboard reference in a single-ended configuration produces the same results as the 10 MHz external single-ended reference. The area I am referring to is circled in red in the picture below and the red lines represent what the spurs look like in either 10 MHz or 100 MHz single-ended configuration.
Issue #2:
I cannot tune out the spurs between 10 MHz and 100 MHz away from the carrier for several output frequencies. The picture below shows the area I am referring to circled in black.
