CDCI6214: zero delay mode

Part Number: CDCI6214

Hello.
I need to run the CDCI6214 as zerodely buffer.
The input is 100MHz, differential HCSL type connected to REF input.
The outpus shall be as following
- Y1, 100MHz HCSL type
- Y4, 100MHz HCSL type
The I2C interface of CDCI is connected to MCU so I can configure the registers after EEPROM is loaded. I'd like to modify the registers without EEPROM modification.
I need clarifications on how modify the registers:
1. Do I need to use EEPROM 1?
2. What shall be the modification values of the registers after loading from EEPROM to configure the CDCI as described above?
Regards

  • Hello,

No EEPROM is not a must. EEPROM is an internal memory array that stores register configurations. After something's written to the EEPROM, the device will always power up with that configuration until the EEPROM is overwritten again.

For your register configuration, please download Ticspro first. Ticspro is the GUI software for almost all our clocking products. You can also refer to datasheet 8.3.1.5 for more details.

    Regards,
