LMK1C1102: Operating from VDD=+3.0V

Part Number: LMK1C1102

Hello,

The datasheet for the LMK1C1102 has performance specifications for VDD=+3.3V, +2.5V and +1.8V.

The hardware I am developing on has VDD=+3.0V.

Is the LMK1C1102 able to operate with VDD=+3.0V?

If so, is it reasonable to expect that when the LMK1C1102 is operated with VDD=+3.0V that its performance will be similar to the VDD=+3.3V performance specification or be close to or exceed the VDD=+2.5V performance specification?

Or for some reason is it just not recommended to operate the LMK1C1102 from VDD=+3.0V?

If I consider the VDD=2.5V specification but use VDD=3.0V then both the device driving the LMK1C1102 and driven by the LMK1C1102 both operate from VDD=+3.0V

Oscillator Module output specification at VDD=+3.0V

Vout High: 0.9xVdd = 2.7V

Vout low: 0.1xVdd = 0.3V

LMK1C1102 (using VDD=+2.5V specification but calculated using VDD=+3.0V)

Vin High: 0.7xVdd = 2.1V

Vin low: 0.3xVdd = 0.9V

Vout High: 0.8xVdd = 2.4V

Vout low: 0.2xVdd = 0.6V

FPGA 3.0V Input specification at VDD=+3.0V

Vin High (min): 1.7V

Vin low (max): 0.8V

Seems like it should work to me, but I am after confirmation that the LMK1C1102 can work from +3.0V with performance that is as good as the +2.5V performance specification.

Regards,

Tom
