Hi all

Would you mind if we ask CDCM7005?

On the CDCM7005's datasheet P17 there is the description "There is no phase build-out function supported (like in SONET/SDH applications)."
Could you let us know what phase build-out function is?

    Hi Matsumoto-san,

    Since this is an old device, I can't tell exactly what was meant there. But my best guess is hitless switching, where the output phase doesn't follow the new input phase when there's reference switchover. Instead, it keeps its original phase so the output doesn't have any phase change at all.
