LMX2594: Unlocks at 70°C

Hi all,

I am using 2 LMX2594 devices in a custom made board for my application. I am generating 12GHz and 8.42GHz.

When devices are made to operate at +70°C 8.42GHz is locking correctly.

But the 12GHz signal is behaving like as shown below figure.

Both the devices are configured through TICS pro.

Kindly let me know what could be the reason and how to avoid that?

    Hi Naveen,

    Can you measure the Vtune for the 12GHz settings? Ideally, when you program the device at any frequency, it will lock the PLL and you can see the Vtune voltage which settles the VCO. Hence, you can compare the Vtune at both frequencies, where 8.42GHz is locked and 12GHz as per above.

    Also, can you confirm, is the PLL locking at 12GHz at other temp. range?
