Reference Pro Temperature Range

I am using a reference pro that came with my LMX2594-EVM.  We would like to evaluate the LMX2594EVM over temperature.  What is the operational temperature range of the reference pro board?

    Hi David,

    There's a crystal on the Reference PRO which is required for USB communication, which is technically rated only for -15°C to 70°C. That said, anecdotally we have pushed the limits on this crystal during our own validation and found that it still operates out to some margin beyond, maybe 10-15°C extra. I wouldn't count on this, but for a single EVM it should be fine.

    Whenever possible, we use longer cables and keep the Reference PRO outside of temperature chambers. There's usually very little loss for typical OSCin signals, and default SPI speed is slow enough that there is little concern of signal integrity on the SPI lines even for half a meter of cable.
