CDCM7005EVM-CVAL: Saving the setup file

Part Number: CDCM7005EVM-CVAL
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCM7005

Hello,

I am using CDCM 7005 eval board and I would like to save the setup file on your Software GUI so that I won't loose it when I power down. Right now every time I turn off the power and turn back on, I loose my setup and it would go back to the default setting. Help is appreciated.

Regards,

Selma Tint

  • Hi Selma,

I see there are Save and Open buttons in the Low Level View page but they don't work. I have to consult my colleague who know this device better than me. My colleague is on vacation this week, I will give you another update in next week.

  • Hi Noel,

Any update? We would also like to know what command we need to use if we were to use the CDCM7005 chip on our design instead of using your eval board and software.

    Thank you,

    Selma

  • Hi Selma,

Looks my colleague has a long vacation, lucky man.

I looked around I didn't find any useful information regarding this issue. I don't have the EVM, not sure if this is the reason the Save/Open button do not work. Since you have the EVM, do these buttons work on your side?

I can't find any sample code for this device, I assume except for the EVM GUI, we don't have other software support for this device.

  • Hi Noel,

Buttons don't work on Evm board as well. So looks like you can not give me an answer that I am looking for. Thanks for trying. Too bad buttons are there for useless reason.

  • Hi Selma,

Right, it happens that these buttons do not work at all, maybe there is compatibility issue with Win10, since the tool was developed long time ago.

Sorry that we are not able to help, that's all I can find for this device.

Are there any newer devices alternative in our portfolio also fit your application?
