LMK03001: Recommended OSCin Power for Operation with a sine wave input with single-ended

Part Number: LMK03001

hi,

please let me ask for the power of "OSCin INPUT". How much the power of "Recommended OSCin" when this device is used with single-ended sine wave input and at 200MHz?

The catalog shows it up to @100MHz, but it doesn't tell me the power at more than 100MHz...

Best Regards,

Tatsuro

  • Hello Tatsuro-san,

Since the minimum required input power is a linear trend defined by minimum necessary slew rate until -10dBm, I tried copying a section of the graph representing the log step from 10^n to 2*10^n, and extending the lines from the single-ended and differential sections:

-10dBm is also the minimum recommended power for single-ended operation at 200MHz. You can of course operate higher than -10dBm as well, likely up to +10dBm before the input amplifier circuit within OSCin starts to saturate and performance degrades.
