LMX2694-EP: How output power changes with frequency

Hello team,

I have a question about output power of LMX2694-EP.

What will output power be when fOUT are 2.5GHz, 1.25GHz?

In datasheet, 6.5 Electrical Characteristics OUTPUT CHARACTERISTICS only describe cases of fOUT=8GHz, 15GHz. Examples were far apart from our usage. So if you have data for lower fOUT like 2.5GHz or 1.25GHz, we would like to see it as a reference.

Hi Fukui-san,

With 50Ω pull-up, the output power are approx. 7dBm and 6dBm at 1.25GHz and 2.5GHz respectively.

Sorry for asking several questions at once.

Are there output power data for 300MHz too? Customer wants to know it for both 50Ω pull-up and inductor pullup cases.

Hi Fukui-san,

No I don't have inductor pull-up data at these frequency, the output power will depend on the inductor value. Please note at 300MHz, resistor pull up may generate higher output power than inductor pull up.

with 50Ω pull up, the output power at 300MHz is around 7dBm.

I want to confirm about previous answers.

Is the output power of each frequency you previously answered, an experimental value?

We wanted to know all Typ, Min, Max values if possible, but should I think there is no such data?

Hi Fukui-san,

Those are typical values. It is not possible to characterize min. and max. at any frequency.
