We have incorporated bq32000dr in our medical device as system RTC
The problem that we seeing that it drains very quickly the backup battery on power loss.
From reading the Datasheet and forum I understand the that VCC needs to be pulsed for 1ms to maintain low current from battery but this is not possible on power loss. Do you have any solution for this issue without additional Hardware?
