LMK03806: Config the LMK03806

Part Number: LMK03806

Hi,

Good Day. I have a customer who is working with LMK03806. Please see below his query for your reference. Thank you very much.

We are trying to config the LMK03806 with the TICS PRO export file , but the clk output not as we config.

We are enter 100MHz  and want 125MHz at clkout_0.

But we get 134MHz.

We need a quick support how to config it.

Best Regards,

Ray Vincent

  • Vincent,

Sounds like the VCO is railing high. When this happens, the charge pump voltage is too low. If you probe the charge pump with a voltmeter during operation, what voltage are you seeing? Too low implies either the input frequency is too high (non-monotonic input could be retriggering the phase detector reference input) or the charge pump polarity is flipped...

Do you have register settings generated from TICS Pro you could share for our review?

    Regards,
