LMX2595: max output frequency with the VCO

Hi TI experts,

Will it be possible to extend the frequency up to 15250MHz with the VCO only? In the description It is mentionned the max frequency at 15100MHz.

We prefer to avoid if possible the doubler as it creates 1/2 harmonics.

Hi Nicolas,

It is very unlikely that the VCO can operate at this frequency, maybe 15100MHz is possible but no guarantee.

You may consider LMX2820, it has built-in tracking filter that could substantially reduce 1/2 harmonics.
