Hello Team,

My customer has questions.

The value of register R13 (INT_LIVE) (R13[6]) is always read as "0" regardless of the status (0 or 1) of the STATUS0 pin set to "PRIREF loss of signal" in register R27.

Also, the value of register R13 (INT_LIVE) (R13[6]) is always read as "0" regardless of the status (0 or 1) of the STATUS1 pin set to "LOL" in register R28.

Is there any other procedure that I should do? For example, "There is a latch command and the value needs to be updated" in advance.

Sorry for the delay. Unfortunately the status registers in LMK03328 don't work properly as far as I know. Please use the status pins instead.

However for lock status indication, you can use this bit: PLL1_VM_INSIDE R150[5].

Are you saying that R13 on this device is having issues?

Also, I don't think R150 is mentioned in the datasheet, is it mentioned anywhere?

Hi Masakazu,

Yes I do not believe that the status registers work properly. We only use status pins.

This bit is not disclosed but it becomes 1 if the charge pump voltage is within operational range. So this read-only bit can reflect PLL lock status. It's 1 if locked and 0 if unlocked.

Why Don't Status Register(R13) Work Properly?

If it differs from what is in the datasheet, the customer may need to be briefed.

I'm still checking this internally, but so far we have always been using the status pins + that VM_INSIDE register bit for status monitoring.
