I have been forced to update my laptop for many reasons however my new laptop does NOT have a parallel printer port. I have to be able to make adjustments to a CDCE906 on a Eval board at our customers site. I have tryed a USB to Parallel converter and the LabView app will not see it. How do I get there from here?

I would suggest getting a USB to parallel port adapter cable for the time being if you would like to work with that board.

Another option would be getting the following programming EVM:

(On page 6 of the users guide (http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/scau026a/scau026a.pdf) you will see how to connect the CDCE906.

And then use the labVIEW based software below to program the CDCE906. This is an old labView based software that supports CDCE906, but this software will take a quite while to download as the run time engine of labview is more than 100Mbytes.

First install the run time engine from labVIEW:

Then use the exe attached to this post2275.TIclockProProgrammer.zip

I would recommend using the USB to parallel port adapter instead of purchasing the other programming EVM board.
