Dear TI team,
Good morning.
Is there any variable frequency square wave generator IC or reference article from TI.
Thank you,
Caliber

Hello Caliber,
There are a few ways to do this. It really depends on the frequency range and accuracy needed.
The most simple is changing the control voltage on an a-stable 555 timer.
Dear Ron Michallick,
Good morning.
Thank you for your reply and references you have provided.
I will go through it.
Thank you,

Dear Ron Michallick,
Good morning.
I have gone through references you had provided and found maximum frequency of 3MHz.
We would like to know the creation of an Oscillator with square wave out which can be varied from 200Mhz to 500 Mhz in VIH = 0.8V .
is there any options other than 555.
Kindly share any reference and support.
Thank you,
Caliber
Caliber,
Those timers shouldn't be used over 1MHz if accuracy matters at all.
For 200MHz to 500MHz range I suggest starting a new thread with this part number, LMX2485E with as many details as possible
I am not familiar with this device; if it's not the correct part, the person who answers your new post will be better equipped to help you with this application.
Dear Ron Michallick,
Good evening.
Thank you for your support.
Thank you,
Caliber
