Hi Team,

Customer is looking for a timer device that can monitor a voltage signal during target device power up sequence, the monitor window period is 800ms to 1s (programmable), this monitoring signal is TTL 3.3V level.

If signal is detected, then our timer device output nothing (no pulse).

If signal is not detected, then our timer device output single pulse. This pulse has to be at least 25uS.

Customer hopes not to use uC, any discrete solution is ok as long as it can do this job, any idea is welcome, many thanks!

Hi Andrew,

Maybe this could be done with TPL5010 (https://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tpl5010.pdf). They could program the interval they need (minus POR and sensing time of about 100ms), look for a signal on the DONE pin, and if no signal is received, use the RSTn pin as the single pulse output. The RSTn output could be inverted with a PNP transistor if required.

Let me know if there's something else they need to satisfy their requirement.
