CDCE62002 EVM GUI Usage to Generate Hex Code for Programming

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCE62002

Hi,

I have downloaded the CDCE62002 GUI software for the Evaluation module - but i am not having a good week at all.

I have typed in 24.576 into the REF_IN box and set the relevant boxes to the required settings - but the settings do not remain as selected, and after a while the SMART MUX box locks.

Does the EVM module need to be connected for the softwre to work correctly as i am just using it to ensure i have the correct settings in the registers and output the hex file for checking.

From initially starting the software, the path from the Smart Mux to the Input Divider is 1.25MHz permanently for a 20MHz input frequency on the REF_IN input. Seems to be permanently setting to divide by 16 although 1 is selected. There is a brief frequency indicated to be 20MHz which is correct, but the software seems to want to revert back to divide by 16.

Version of software is 1.1.18 and java version is release 25.

Any suggestions.

Thanks and regards,

Richard.
