LMX1204: Frequency input and output relation

Hi,

I have confusion regarding LMX1204. I am currently doing the simulation PLLatinum and clarify the setup in TICS PRO with the setting attached lmx1204.tcs.

If we provided the LMX1204 with 5.76 GHz input and use the IC's div/mult, would we be able to get the buffer output of 7.56 and 8.28 GHz?

from the datasheet it seems not doable but I dont get any error with both tools.

btw, I have not had the EVM yet, so I cant confirm it in the lab.

Could you kindly check it for me? what would the SFDR look like for this output?

    Hi Andri,

    As mentioned in LMX1204 datasheet, it can operate in any one of the functionality bypass / div / mult and can't be possible as your requested frequencies (7.56G and 8.28G with 5.76G input). 

    TICS Pro may not have show any issue with changed frequency and we take it as input and will update in next version.
