I have the CDCE906-706PERFEVM with a parallel port cable (db25 to usb). I connect 3.3 volts to each of the three inputs and ground to the ground input. I receive the 27 MHz out of the 6 outputs as the default setup. I have the TI Pro Clock downloaded. I try to program the device and receive a write error. When I try to read the registers of the device, I receive a read error "No input data read signal." I followed the user guide, as this device is supposed to be plug and play. Is there something else I need to do to be able to program it?
