Can the CDCV304 be used as a data buffer also?
I need to buffer a clock and a data line out to 3 loads at 80 MHz. If I use the CDCV304 for the clocks, then if I use another CDCV304 for the data the part-part skew may be acceptable.
Or is there a simpler or smaller solution?
Hi Roger,
CDCV304 doesn't have any retiming stages, and should be usable as a data buffer if there is no limitation of part-part skew, which is 0.4ns (max.), for clock and data.
Thanks!
