LMX2572: Maximal current rating

Hi Team,

Our customer would like to know the maximum rating of the supply current of the LMX2572RHA as well as the maximum charge pump current. The datasheet stated the typical supply current only.

Hi Danilo,

The current consumption depends on the configuration, please use TICS Pro to estimate the current consumption. The variation over PVT is about 10% of the typical value.

Charge pump current has around 5% variation.

What I would like to know if there's a maximal absolute rating of the current consumption of the PLL? Is there a value that you recommend not going above it?

Hi Danilo,

this is actually depending on the max. rating of Tj. LMX2572 is a low power device, it is not likely that, in any cases, that max. rating will be hit.
