Hi team,

Customer needs to know the absolute maximum voltage that can be applied to one of the LMK01801’s OUTPUTS. The datasheet specifies the max for the input but not the output.

The datasheet says the output can tolerate a short circuit, is it safe to assume the output can tolerate 3.6V max like the inputs can?

I don't understand the logic, why is the customer looking for the input spec of an output?

Hi Noel,

Customer is just trying to understand what can the output voltage tolerate. In event of short circuit, can output voltage tolerate 3.6V?

Hi Connie,

we have short circuit current for LVDS output. That is all we have.
