CDCE62002 EVM Installation - Vista 64bit

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CDCE62002

Hi,

I have the CDCE62002 EVM - but the computer cannnot find the corrct driver.

I point it to the Driver section of the installation of the installed GUI software- but it fails to find the correct driver.

I get the following :

Description:

Windows detected a new device attached to your computer, but could not find the driver software it needs to make the device usable. Each device manufacturer typically includes driver software of a CD that comes with the device, or as a download from its website. The hardware ID of your device is USB\VID_0451&PID_1E03&REV_0100.

Problem signature:

  Problem Event Name:                        PnPDriverNotFound

  Architecture:                                       x64

  Hardware Id:                                        USB\VID_0451&PID_1E03&REV_0100

  OS Version:                                          6.0.6002.2.2.0.256.1

  Locale ID:             2057

I have copied manualll the CDCE62002.sys file into the system32 directory as the installation did not completed this aspect.

I examined the driver details from Device Manager and there are two entries - the one as above with and without the &REV_0100.

Anyone any ideas how to resolve this ?. Thanks.

Regards,

Richard.
