LMX2594EVM: How to achieve the RF output power level 7dbm for the frequency range from 10GHz to 15GHz ?

Hi,

I have configure the LMX2594 IC for 10GHz and the PLL get locked for 10GHz but the RF output power level is in -2dbm for OUTx_PWR = 50 but in datasheet it mention the output power is programmable up to 7dbm.

can anyone tell me how to achieve the RF output power level 7dbm for the frequency range from 10GHz to 15GHz ?

Hi Sabitha,

To get higher output power, we need inductor pull-up for the output buffer, EVM used resistor pull-up.

Please connect the output of the EVM to a test equipment with a very short cable or with a sma connector. Signal reflection with long cable will affect your measurement.
