LMK5B12204: External Bypass Capacitors for APLL1, APLL2, and Digital Blocks

Part Number: LMK5B12204
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMK05318B

Hello all,

Regarding the above requirement:

For APLL1, APLL2, and Digital Blocks, I should place a nearby 10-μF bypass capacitor on each pin.

I measured the actual voltage on CAP_PLL1, CAP_PLL2 and CAP_DIG using the LMK05318B evaluation board:

CAP_PLL1: 2.65V

CAP_PLL2: 2.65V

CAP_DIG: 1.25V

The bypass capacitor used in the EVM is TDK p/n:C1608X5R1A106M080AC (10uF/10V 0603)

The actual capacitance for this capacitor is about half the 10uF requirement (at 2.65V)

Is this a mistake? I believe 0805 capacitors should have been used instead 0603 size...

Also, is it possible to get the evaluation board schematic? (the user manual schematic is probably a JPG snapshot and I can't a search a text in it)

Thanks!
