Hello Team,
can I use ClockPro only for EVMs? According to the CDCE813 data sheet ClockPRO can be used:
What could be used to program e.g. a CDCE813/913 which is already on a customer HW?
Thanks and Best Regards,
Hans
Hi Hans,
You should be able to use ClockPro. I2C is another option.

Vicente
Hi Vicente, this does not answer my question. Maybe I need to be more precise: With ClockPro it is NOT possible to program the CDCE813 on a customer HW.
Thanks and Best Regards, Hans
Hi Hans,
ClockPro and via I2C are the only way you can program the device. What issue is the customer having that they cannot program using ClockPro?
Regards,
Vicente
Hi Vivente,
According to https://www.ti.com/tool/CLOCKPRO ClockPro only works for EVMs:
while the CDCE813 data sheet claims:
Please clarify.
Thanks and Best Regards, Hans
Hi Hans,
ClockPro works with the following devices but was created to to accompany the EVMs for those devices.
You can still program those devices in the image above even if they're not TI EVMs. Y

Hi Vicente,
interesting! Can you provide a block diagram about the hardware setup for programming e.g. a CDCE913 (no EVM), please? Just the CDCE913 connected via I2C to a uC, please?
Thanks and Best Regards, Hans
Hi Hans,
I am not understanding your question here; what is uC?
Is SCA/SDL configured correctly, these are the pins used for I2C?
The programming procedure using I2C can be found in datasheet on page 14.
